As an Atlanta native, I've eaten at many Atlanta staples, but I've never had Savage Pizza. I'm not sure why, but I just haven't — wasn't in the cards. I went there once when I was four or five with my babysitter one summer afternoon, but only she ate because my parents didn't want me filling up before dinner. Such is fate, I suppose... I had a craving for pizza this weekend, and discovered Savage was open for delivery, so I gave them a shot. Their pizzas are simple, but delicious. The Bolognese pizza has a nice herbal note, like a proper bolognese. The Chicken Cordon Bleu pizza is fatty and rich, like a proper chicken cordon bleu. The crust on both is divine. Perfect, yeasty, chewy crust. I also got a New York Style Cheesecake slice, which was good, too. I mean, it's pretty difficult to mess up cheesecake, so this was to be expected. Graham cracker crust... Decadent and coats the mouth... I'll definitely be back!

Order completely wrong. Paid for 16" pizzas, were delivered 12" that are not the right size

The supreme pizza was the most flavorless pizza we've ever had. Looked appetizing but tasted like nothing.

Savage Pizza isn't as good as it was even 3 years ago. I've been a customer for 20+ years and I'm sorry to see the crust get too fluffy and the cheese too thick. I am thankful, though, for the anchovy option. That is essential, according to my spousal unit.

So good!! The pesto is super basil-y and the Bread Sticks were nice and warm.
