I've lived here all my life and never eaten at the Silver Star until last night, and I was impressed! We ordered three items to share, the Steak House Salad, was a basic lettuce, tomato, onion and crouton salad until bitting into the perfectly cooked, tender steak. Steak can be tricky, but this was done right. Also, the blue cheese dressing was delicious. Next we had the Halibut Fish & Chips - 2 PC with onion rings. The halibut was lightly breaded, cooked very well, but a little bit dry. The onion ring batter was crunchier than I'm used to, but the onions were cooked to perfection. Lastly, we had a grilled chicken Star Quesadilla that I fell in love with, but my wife was not fond of. All wonderful flavors of Chicken, cheese, Mushroom, and grilled onions on tortilla. The accompanying coleslaw was just the right crunch with a dressing a little bit sweet, and a little bit tangy.
We'll definitely be back.

The Steak House Salad is really good! The Steak Fries Basket is good too. I am wondering why we got a 2 Tbsp cup of gravy instead of the bigger container we've gotten before, but still good.

Best steak in town! The Ribeye Steak was cooked exactly how I wanted and full of flavor. Highly recommend adding the mushrooms, but wish I could've added some blue cheese too.
The Star Quesadilla was, as it's name implies, the start of the show. I ordered it with the pork carnitas. It was HUGE, flavorful, and had more meat than expected.
The Deep-Fried Pickles were a great side, but just a little light on pickle flavor for my taste. Still arrived crispy, which is impressive for delivery.
Altogether, a solid choice for dinner.

While most of our items were very well made, both of our burgers were pink, smelled of raw hamburger, and were simply inedible. Overall, disappointed and still hungry.
