Another new eatery for me to try. Get the MVP Breakfast. It was amazing. Everything cooked to order. The bacon was sooo crispy. Eggs over easy great. The hash browns and the waffle sooo hot and full of flavor. A new addition to my Door Dash family.

The Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Sweet Cake were the best pancakes, well actually the best description is Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Sweet Cake as you can taste the homemade goodness and that these definitely didn't come from a box. They arrived Hot and not sweaty with Hot Syrup as well as real butter. I am extremely impressed with the taste and the amount of Sweetcakes that you get for $4.99 --- you get 2, but as large as they are and thick, they are more like 4 from any other eatery. Along with bring large discs and thick, they were fluffy and hit my mouth with an explosion of flavor and I was having a humdrum day, but after that first bite, WOW my entire attitude changed to Happiness. If you have never eaten at Spillway Diner then you are missing out on some excellent food. They open at around 6:00 am and close around 2:00 pm with their speciality being breakfast and lunch.

My Super Bacon Cheeseburger with Homemade Fries was excellent as always! I do wish that they would give a larger portion of the Awesome Homemade Fries. The Kids Chicken Tender with Homemade Fries was awesome, says my little friend who I am watching while their mom works. They also said they wished they had more fries. If you want a Great Burger (with or without cheese, with or without bacon, loaded up with lettuce, onion, pickles, and tomatoes then load it up as they come on the side ((bacon n cheese are extra)), then you need to go to SPILLWAY DINER and grab you a burger and fries... They are also known for their breakfast offerings as well as their Blue Plate Luncheons, as well as their Famous Philly Cheesesteak with Fries. I have had their 2 eggs (over hard) bacon, hash browns, and pancakes all of which were excellent ... I have also have eaten a few of their Blue Plate Offerings--- Fried Chicken; Hamburger Steak; Pork Chops all of which come with 2 Veggies and a choice of bread (I get the cornbread); also if you are not a meat eater, they offer a 3 Veggie Blue Plate Special in which they load you up with your choice of 3 veggies --- my go to's are Butter Beans, Black Eyed Peas, Broccoli, Squash, Fried Okra, as well as Fries... you really can't go wrong with what you are hungry for there, if they offer it, you will enjoy the down home style cooking! Just make sure to go while they are open as their hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy!

My Super Bacon Cheeseburger was Awesome as usual and the Homemade Fries were so so so yummy ... the reason I eat a burger at a restaurant is weighed by the following:
Fries ------- 80%
Burger ---- 20%
Basically if the Fries are from a bag that has been frozen or not the "homemade" variety then I will most likely not eating from that restaurant again. Of course if the burger is not tasty then I will not be returning. I have found that 90% of Restaurants that serve Burgers, usually have a good burger, especially if the restaurant doesn't follow my instructions. I like Hamburgers with or without cheese (if you are able to choose then I will ask for cheddar or Swiss) with Mustard ONLY and the veggies on the side as I will dress the burger at my home. The bun should always be placed on the side as the bun will get soggy if not placed to the side. I will add lettuce, onion, and tomato (if fresh). Spillway Diner has the Absolute Best Burger in my area as well as just about every other restaurant that I have eaten a burger at. I do like the fries from the place with Golden Arches, but their burger and fries cost more the Spillway Diner, so my days of getting a burger n fries from there are all but over. The Homemade Fries at Spillway Diner are the absolute best that I have ever eaten (beside my moms cast iron skillet pan fries).
I also ordered the Veggie Plate and got their Butter Beans and subbed their Homemade Fries for my 2nd option. I chose the Texas Toast as well as their Cornbread, all of this blue plate entree was extremely yummy and also Very Awesome!

The reason I gave this Restaurant a 3 Star Rating instead of the 5 Star that I would usually give this Restaurant 99% of the time is because they gave me White Rice instead of their Awesome Homemade Fries with the Super Bacon Cheeseburger (that is awesome) and I did Check the box (and figured I didn't need to call them as, who in the world would get White Rice instead of Homemade Fries? The reason I order from Spillway Diner is because of their HOMEMADE FRIES, which are the best Fries I have ever eaten (besides my late mother's homemade pan fries).
When I lifted the flap on my Super Bacon Cheeseburger in which I check the Fries box for my side and saw the White Rice, I immediately went from looking forward to my lunch, to so irritated that not only did they get my Side Order wrong is that they sent White Rice .... I was watching my friends child and luckily they at least got a small kiddie order of HOMEMADE FRIES in which their child always gives to me as he likes those Flaming Hot Cheeto's ... so I at least had 9 Fries Order of Fries to eat, but I am so disappointed that I didn't get my correct order. I will ALWAYS call them from now on as I eat from their restaurant because of their Homemade Fries.
Their Super Bacon Cheeseburger is so big that I eat half for lunch that first day and eat the other half for dinner as I can heat up the Fries in my Toaster Oven Air Fryer
