I have enjoyed a variety of dinners from Sweetwater Tavern and Have enjoyed each dinner. From melt in your mouth Babyback Ribs, Savory Chicken Wings, and wonderfully Seasoned fried Shrimp Dinners that keeps you coming back for more. Side dishes of Homemade Collared Greens, Mac and Cheese, Mashed Redskin Potatoes and more ...makes dinner a Wonderful and Pleasing Event. I am really hungry now...I think it's time to order my dinner from Sweetwater!!!

I ordered wings with extra sauce and 1/2 rack of ribs with Collard Greens and Macaroni and Cheese. the wings were unedible because they were fried too, too hard. the Collards were bland, no flavor and the Macaroni and Cheese looked tasted like box Macaroni or at the least just not baked. I will only being going to the original Sweetwaters downtown Detroit. They need to close the express locations if their not going to follow the same food protoccol.

The only redeeming factors for these wings is that there was a good amount of meat on each one and they were still warm when they arrived. With that being said, the wings were flavorless, bland and not the least bit crispy, as they appear to be oven-baked. Staff took over 40 minutes to prepare the food after my Dasher arrived at the store, after telling the Dasher the food would be ready in 15 minutes, and seemed to be preparing other orders that were not DoorDash-related prior to preparing my order. The ranch/blue cheese dressings were also severely lacking any redeeming qualities. I have no idea how people rave about these wings, they were a major letdown.

The Steak Bites were good, could've been seasoned "more", thank goodness there was a pack of salt in the bag. but the Peach Cobbler ...I'm not certain what this doughy stuff is!

Usually my go to for lunch. The wings and fries always come hot and fresh.
