Maple Aleppo Chicken was very good - the combination of spices, the textures of the tender
chicken, apricots pieces, chickpeas, and caramelized onions over the creamy rice topped with labne was delightful. The dukka spice with the maple syrup made for an excellent flavor that enriched the entire dish.
As always, the tahini-chocolate chip cookie was tasty, but this time it was very thin, and therefore not as chewy or satisfying as usual. Sadly, the cookie was a fraction as nice as it looks in the photo - this could have been helped with rich halva and chocolate, but there was only 1 small piece of halva, and that was quite disappointing. At least it was not an overly sugary cookie.

The ham and cheddar quiche was once again excellent: lots of ham and (I think) leeks in a silky, creamy egg custard filling loaded with flavor. The apple turnover was delicious but a bit too sweet and would have benefitted from some cranberries or another tart fruit to add more balance.

Turkey BLAT was significantly better than I expected. Best part is the bacon, while still crunchy, it just melts in your mouth.
