Rolls are always of top quality. I've never been disappointed. My personal favorites are the Covington and Marvelous roll. Love this place and probably order it way too much but it is so good!

*Vader Roll with scallops was okay- way too many scallops in my opinion. It was very messy. *Fresh Water Eel Nigiri was not as pictured- good but not worth the price.
*Trump Roll and *Mountain Roll are always good.

The qualiy and quantity of Trappers food has gone down over the past few years. There was too much rice in the *Puyallup Roll and not enough fish/avocado inside. The $4 *Edamame container was tiny. It used to be much larger. Their food is not cheap, I can find better sushi in the area at a comparable price. Very disappointing.

The teriyaki chicken that we paid $16 for was an absolute joke. It wasn't even fit for a kids meal, and the entire place looked like someone's leftovers. Along with the small portion of teriyaki chicken, I received one asparagus (skinnier than a pipe cleaner), a greasy (tiny) onion ring, and a small zucchini slice. When I called the restaurant to voice my concern with the quality of their order-outs, the lead server took my call as the manager was supposedly "too busy" to speak with me. He was nice enough, and informed me that since we ordered through a third party that there was nothing they could do for me...but emphasized that he would definitely "ream" his cook for this incident. FYI, the bags our order arrived in were completely taped up, so this food was sent out by the restaurant. My opinion is that because they are not held liable when people order from them through a third-party delivery service, the lack of quality is deliberate and intentional. The restaurant obviously couldn't care less, and it's pretty sad. I'll be posting pictures on Yelp and other social media platforms. If you want Trapper's Sushi with quality ingredients and service then order from the Tacoma location.
