Small portion of fish was included in the Catfish & Chicken Combo , but fish and chicken and the additional Half Chicken were all cooked just right, and tasty. The Triple Chocolate Cake Slice is decadent indeed. 😹 I’d order again from Uncle Remus on 47th Street.

I never had uncle Remus and let me tell you. I absolutely love the chicken and sauce here. The chicken was fresh, seasoned and crispy n crunchy. The Breast was juicy and I never had a breast that juicy and tender. I will be back for more.

Yessssssssssss!!! My food was perfect. Thank you & the wonderful young lady who I spoke with over the telephone prior was very professional & a pleasure to speak with. This is about my 5th or 6th time ordering from here in a short period of time. I even have close friends & co-workers who travel across town for this particular Uncle Remus. Delicious and freshly cooked as always!

My second order sense yesterday had to give them another chance. Chicken wasn't fried hard like I asked for no salt and pepper okra was good.mashed potatoes -paid for large only got a medium kind of disappointed at uncle Remus. I'm from the West side of Chicago and I remember them very fondly from my childhood in the 80s and 90s.Do right by me.Chicken was excellent other then those small things..

Food was not hot at all, then you have to buy everything seperate. Chicken was very bland and fried too hard. the original uncle Remus is not like this. The rolls are even the same. Do not recommend. Stick to the original because this aint it. Complete waste of your money.
