This is our second time ordering from Whacko Gringo and the food has been PHENOMENAL both times! The Buff-n-Chicken Dilla and TWO - QuesaBirria Tacos are savory and the meat is tender. However, I have a new favorite, the Boom Boom Shrimp Taco, which was quite literally just a flavor explosion.

Fantastic food, stayed hot. I couldn't believe the flavor on the consommé. The birria was so tender and delicious. The tacos stayed fresh, and weren't soggy at all after delivery. I've never had birria tacos before and I couldn't believe it was something we could get here in Oswego. The guacamole was the best I've ever had. Full of lime! Queso is fantastic, smooth and thick. Packed well for delivery.
Maybe seal the bags to prevent tampering like some of the other restaurants do though. But I didn't have any problems! My driver was fantastic as well.

I am glad to see that with Whacko Gringo's return with a new storefront, their already high standards of quality only increased. My usual order of Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos was always good, but honestly? Now I can say that they were 'great'. Fresh food, well balanced flavors, good portions. All in all, one of the better restaurants in the Oswego area.

was skeptical but still open to try an spot offering tacos outside of the taco bell types in a small suburban town. it is not only overpriced, much more than even the tacquerias in nyc, but the ingredients and quality are very lackluster compared to the marketing. birria tacos was over burnt and chimichurri tacos was just ground beef (birria broth was good). The flavors are there but there's alot left to be desired. not a good impression for a new place

Amazing! Def recommend the Pollo Asada Taco, 100%. The fruit bowls are HUGE for the price, if you're into that.
