Here is a real review, by a real, several-time paying customer. I will be using the 'hamburger method' for this review.
First off - the sauce/rub selection. It is amazing. I would not change a thing, and I am very grateful for the amount of sauces and rubs that Wingstop offers. The wide variety of selections Wingstop has is amazing, and is certain to satisfy any customer. However, a better description of what is a sauce, and what is a rub, would make purchases and tasting a lot easier. I am familiar with a garlic parm sauce that is commonly used on chicken, and it is amazing. Wingstop uses a garlic parm rub, which is not specified, and tastes like a ton of salt.
Next, a company called Wingstop should obviously be famously known for their wings. I ordered ten wings in original hot sauce, and the sauce was fine, but the wings just consisted of fried bread on chicken bones. Where's the meat?
Hawaiian sauce is up next. I've had Hawaiian sauce from several different companies and on wings/tenders from several different restaurants. I have no idea where Wingstop gets their Hawaiian sauce, but this is unlike any Hawaiian sauce I've ever tasted. In a bad way. It was very bitter instead of sweet.
The fries - again, sauce selection, amazing. However, the last few times I've ordered fries from Wingstop, they are extremely undercooked and soggy. Overloaded with sauces or rubs, and not crispy or crunchy. My wife thought I had ordered raw potatoes, cut into fries with sauce on them.
Lastly, the bread rolls. Oh my goodness, these are phenomenal. These bread rolls are the greatest thing I've ever tasted. I literally threw all of my other food away and just ate the bread rolls.
My best advice, ditch the chicken and potatoes, and order a ton of the bread.
