always love the food from here. couldn't afford a full meal but adding the yum YumYum Sauce and hibachi Hibachi Ginger Sauce is so cheap I can make the rest at home. everything tasted awesome! I appreciate the Side Hibachi Vegetable andSide Hibachi Chicken not being drowned in liquid.

Awesome food. Will be back for sure. portion sizes are great and the steak was cooked perfectly. The chicken was a little bit dry but I think once you dice chicken it doesn't take long. The yum yum YumYum Sauce is the best I've had at any hibachi. I can't wait to eat here again.

I love this restaurant. They have interesting sushi combinations, which I love and hibachi which my husband prefers. We usually dine in but today was a doordash day. Everything arrived nicely plated and good portions. The chicken hibachi was delicious, we ordered extra yum yum sauce because we love their recipe. We tried the chicken fried for the first time. Although it was flavorful it was overcooked so it was dry and needed sauce. I tried the Paradise roll, and I was disappointed. It was supposed to have mango in it and mango sauce on it. I guess they ran out of mango because there was no sauce and it had banana in it. Banana does not make a good mango substitute. The flavor combo with the lobster and white fish was unpleasant. Being that the whitefish was fried, the banana was also warm, double yuck. Had we dined in and received this dish I would have sent it back, it's just not tasty. I would have preferred them to message me and ask me to change my choice than make such an odd substitution. I won't be adventurous if we order from them on doordash again. With that being said, Sakura is one of my favorite restaurants. We visit often and will continue to do so. Just want them to be aware that todays substitutions was a big fail and I cannot recommend the Paradise roll at this time.

The Hibachi Combination (Any Two Items) (steak & shrimp teppanyaki - they call it hibachi but by authentic Japanese, this is teppanyaki) was good. It comes with mixed veggies, either white rice, fried rice or fried noodles, as well as 3 shrimp, a small salad w/ creamy ginger dressing, clear soup, ginger sauce and (nonspicy) yum yum sauce. We ordered 2 "hibachi" combos with fried rice and a side of fried noodles as I was sharing the meal with two other people. Shrimp were a little overcooked. Steak was cooked to order. The mix of veggies is heavy on zucchini & onion, fair on carrots & broccoli, painfully light on mushrooms. They use baby bella/white button mushrooms. Fried rice is a lacking in seasoning but otherwise good. Side Fried Noodle are better. Clear soup has good flavor but the soggy, mushy fried onion straws in it were awful in flavor and texture. I immediately fish them out & throw them away befor they disintegrate any further. It would also be better with shiitake rather than baby bella mushrooms. Yum yum & ginger sauces are good. The ginger salad dressing is fantastic and probably my favorite thing of the whole meal. Accompanying salad's lettuce, shredded carrots and single half slice of cucumber were crisp & fresh. The single half slice of tomato was severely under ripe, tough & lacking flavor. The Boston Roll was disappointing. It was messy, not tightly rolled and the nori hid the flavor of everything else it contained (or everything else it contained was just really bland. Not sure. Never been a big fan of nori - I prefer soy, ginger or pineapple wraps.) We've ordered here many times. It's a long way from authentic and has room to implement simple improvements but it's still a good meal I don't have to cook or clean up, so it's a win. Have ordered before & will order again.

The flavor is nice, and the vegetables were great. However, all of my proteins were overcooked. The shrimp were tough, the scallops were chewy, and my steak was medium well when I requested rare. Also, there was little to no egg in my rice.
