I recently ordered from Peppas Jerk Chicken for the first time, and it was an absolute delight. I opted for the Jerk Chicken Dinner and Festivals large plate with jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage, accompanied by a festival. The flavors in each bite were bursting with authenticity, and the portion size was more than satisfying.The festival was a good accompaniment .While ordering through the app, I couldn't find a dedicated section for side dishes, but I managed to include my preferences in the special instructions. I also called to confirm my order, and the representative on the phone was exceptionally friendly and helpful with my questions. I was initially under the impression that plantains were included to the two sides, but it turns out they're separate side – no big deal, I'll remember for next time. I'm definitely planning to order from Peppas Jerk Chicken again; it's a must-try for anyone seeking delicious Caribbean cuisine."

As a Carribean girlie it is hard to find good Carribean in Manhattan. Got the oxtail pasta and it was so delicious the small was very filling in just sad I didn’t get a large for $3 more so I can have some for lunch tommmorow. Order it now!

The curry chicken I had last week was decent, the lemonade was watered down and I received no utensils with my order. Despite these issues, I still ordered Stewed chicken, a beef Pattie and carrot cake. The beef Pattie was dry and seemed a day old. The carrot cake was $7 (WHAT?!) and looked like a kids sized portion. With this being said I dont think I'll be ordering from Peppa's again. I understand it's NYC and nothing is priced reasonably, but I simply cant afford to pay top dollar for mediocre food.

Always been a fan of Peppas and was really looking forward to this location opening up in manhattan. However, the Food was nowhere near the quality of the locations in Brooklyn. The Macaroni and Cheese was an orange color, was bland and very dry.icant even said it had cheese on it, it was just a weird texture. The Macarani salad was soupy and not the creamy texture i am accustomed to from other Peppa's locations. The Jerk Chicken Only left alot to be desired. Sad to say I will not be ordering from here again. I would rather wait until I am in Brooklyn and order from there. I did not take pictures of the macaroni salad because it went straight into the trash. And they charge $5 for a small bottle of Kola champagne.

I ordered curry goat with steamed cabbage which they didn't have so when they called and told me they only had jerk chicken I said I did not want that, they told me they had curry goat gravy. which I didn't want either. But the person on the phone insisted so to save myself the back and forth I just said whatever. what I got at the end of the day was chopped up pieces of jerk chicken in what seems to me to be curry chicken gravy. I did not get the large I asked for nor did I get a price adjustment. I've ordered from here two other times and have had problems but decided to try again but this will definitely be the last time. I hope you all have a better experience and wish Peppa's the absolute best this is just my honest opinion.
