"I've been wanting to try soup dumplings and I ordered the Pan Fried Soup Pork Bun 6 / 生煎包6. They had a soft top and a crunchy bottom. They were meaty and juicy with soup. Very flavorful. The Hot and Sour Soup / 酸辣汤 was also tasty with the right amount of spice and veggies. The Sweet & Spicy Crispy Chicken / 左宗棠鸡块 was good but it didn't have any spice, which was a little disappointing, still tasty, but was more of a sweet and sour chicken versus sweet and spicy. The Stir Fried Noodle / 炒面 was also good but I feel like it could have been more flavorful. Overall, I would highly recommend! "

"The Szechuan Beef tastes great and there's a decent portion. The Honey Crisp Walnut Shrimp is also one of our favorites. The House Fried Rice is pretty standard. You can see the two big shrimp on top in my picture. Those are the only two shrimp in the whole container. My biggest criticism right now (and from previous orders) is they only give one soy sauce packet. We order at least 3 different items each time but they seem to be rationing their soy sauce."

"I hope to remember never to order from this place again. My food was slightly warm as if it had been taken out of the fridge and heated up. The fried rice was soggy like someone tried to rehydrate some dry hard rice and my salt and pepper pork was stale. Overall the food was at least a few days old and nearly tainted. My dog wouldn't eat it either. I don't like giving bad reviews when restaurants are struggling, but we all are working hard. Paying 30 bucks for just two items that may have been a cup of food each, of old,bland, flavorless, stale, food is ridiculous! Dine there at your own risk!"

"We have been fans of Sunflower for a long time! They recently switched ownership and the food has changed a bit. The chicken dishes (both Salt and Pepper Chicken and Orange Chicken) have a new breading with a strange flavor. We found the breading to take up about half of each piece of chicken which was disappointing. Sandy's (prev owner) Potstickers (6) recipe are no more - the meat in these are different, and the special sauce to go with them is no longer offered. They are no longer evenly fried. Likely just changes we'd see with any owner - but if you were a patron before, just know the dishes are not the same. We hope the new owner works through these growing pains and maybe brings back some of Sandy's best dishes. "

"For the Teriyaki Filet Steak with Assorted Mushrooms 燒汁什菌牛柳粒 they give you a pretty good portion and the meat is barely fatty. The Jumbo Shrimp Har Gaw 美味蝦餃皇 were so good with a little soy sauce and hoisin. The Steamed BBQ Pork Buns 蠔皇叉燒包 were so soft and so yummy. The Shanghai Pork Soup Dumplings 上海小籠包 were a little plain but still good. Pan Fried Pork Buns 特色生煎包 were sooo good, I wish they were a little more fried but the flavor was definitely there. "

"This was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered the American Dream Roll and The *Alameda Roll for delivery. I was a little skeptical when I saw the rolls packaged in sandwich size plastic clam shells, so I was very pleasantly surprised when I took a bite and realized how big and full ech piece was! Normally a single roll is a decent snack for me, and I need about 1.5-2 rolls to fill full. I was only able to eat the equivalent of 1 roll and I was stuffed. Both rolls tasted great! They were beautifully decorated, tasted as described in the details (which is important to me), and filled me up without having to eat multiple rolls. I'm very pleased with my order and will definitely be back for more!"

So many other restaurants give you too much bean sprouts and not enough noodles. I have dined in at East Ocean previously and had the Peking Duck, fried calamari and other dishes. Everything I have tried so far has been excellent. "
