We ordered two Teriyaki combos: one with chicken and steak, and another with filet mignon. Unfortunately, we only received one of the two, which was a bit of a bummer as I was hoping to compare them side-by-side. (This was likely my fault for ordering late in the day!😅)
Despite that, the meal we did receive was brilliant. The rice was perfectly cooked and actually seasoned and not drowning in a liquid – a welcome change from the typical "glue ball" rice you often encounter. The chicken was tender and incredibly flavorful, easily cut with a knife, though almost not needed. The steak, while well-done (not my usual preference, as I like mine just passed by a flame, very rare.), was surprisingly quite tender, set with a nice fired flavour.. The vegetables were awesome; crispy and fresh, a far cry from the floppy, mushy kind you often get. The cooking all around was spot on!
I will certainly be ordering again, and I'll make sure to place my order earlier in the day to hopefully get my hands on that filet mignon next time!
