"My mom and I really love Kuro Sushi's bowls. She usually orders the Salmon Poke Bowl . I order the Tofu Poke Bowl . I'm not supposed to eat a lot of tofu and a few times I've asked them to substitute veggies, which they have so kindly done. The Tofu Poke Bowl has a really flavorful ginger sauce that goes with it. Kuro Sushi always cares about presentation. The way the ingredients are placed in their recyclable cardboard containers makes me believe there is a true artisan in the kitchen. The portions are excellent and the food is consistently delicious. The rice is a red rice and has a different flavor than white rice. I was initially surprised but have come to appreciate the flavor and recommend it. The restaurant itself is stylish, attractive, full of light, and very very clean! Enjoy Kuro Sushi!!! Plain California roll's good enough. deep frying it just made it overly rich. I felt the yummy crunch roll was overfilled with the crab mixture. "Sadly, other than the Tempura Vegetable Plate our meal was not as expected at all. The beef in the Yakisoba was in huge pieces, very tough and gristly and had very little flavor. The noodles in the dish were greasy and the flavor of the sauce was strange; it tasted of nutmeg or some other sweet spice, very odd. The Spam Masubi was all rice, very little spam, and oddly built - you couldn't pick it up to eat it without it all falling apart. The Futomaki was very loose, it also fell apart, the balance of rice to vegetables was off and the sushi rice didn't have much flavor. The only saving grace of our meal was the Tempura Vegetable Plate, which had a light, crisp batter, well fried, and a good amount of items included in the dish - this was the only item we would order again"

"Very good and was packaged really well. It wasn't mentioned in the menu, but the orders do come with side of purple rice or white rice (depending on the dish) and side dishes. This place is on the pricey side, but there was a deal going on so got it at a reasonable price. Some of the dishes had a different flavor than the traditional flavors you'd expect, but still tasted good. This order was to feed 5-6 people and ended with plenty of leftovers for another meal SIDE NOTE: The only complaint I have with this order is with doordash not allowing more than one promo to be applied. What's the point of having multiple dishes that have deals if you can only select one promo for only one of the dishes? At this rate I'd recommend seeing if the resturant have their own delivery option on their website. It drops the prices significantly and helps the restaurant from having a chunk of the sales go to doordash."
