"This is one of the hardest reviews ive evr written. I grew up in Solana Beach and have held Fidel's as my gold standard for authentic Baja ad Califn style Mexican food. It's always been a top recommendation I give to anyone visiting San Diego. But the last two DoorDash orders have been very disappointing. Missing items, ordered items missing ingredients (no lettuce, tomatoes, cheese on a taco) all very small details but important for the item. In particular since their prices are at record highs. Fidels is new to DD and I hope they adjust and improve. For now I'd give them 5 stars for dine in and 3 for delivery. "
