You can't go wrong with their sandwiches, whether it's a breakfast or lunch type sandwich, and today was no exception. I ordered a Ham and Swiss breakfast sandwich, a few bagels and their "hash browns. While the sandwich was great, the hash browns were squished and dry, yet salvageable and the OJ was so bitter I had to add some sugar to make it drinkable. Considering what they charge for their OJ, I would expect a much better product! IMHO. If you're going to charge higher prices for something, you should make it the best! i.e. find a purveyor that sells fresh, pasteurized OJ and if necessary charge a bit more, I know I'd pay it for a much better product! I reheated the hash browns by wrapping them up with a damp paper towel for 30 seconds and viola, they were now hot and no longer dry! Being a semiretired Professional Chef helps in these types of situations! 👨‍🍳👍 As for the bagels, they're my 2nd favorite, with Bagels flown in from NY being the best I ever had,(they say it's the water in NY) but that gets pricey if you don't have a friend or a family member returning from a trip there! LOL All in all, Einsteins Bagel was and will remain my favorite bagel restaurant! Unless OFC, I have a friend or family member that's returning from NY! 😂👍"
