I truly appreciate the effort and hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the quality of the products. I live just down the street and was excited to try this place, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I had to throw away multiple items because they weren’t edible. One was so soggy it seemed like it had been dipped in butter or milk—just gross. The pastelito wasn’t good either, and I couldn’t eat it. The guava didn’t taste right—it may have been expired or canned. This was disappointing, especially considering the Cuban roots of the restaurant and the importance of guava pastelitos in Cuban culture. I didn’t try the alfajor because I’d already lost my appetite. We all work hard to enjoy the luxury of dining out, especially during a time of economic growth and progress. It’s disappointing when the quality doesn’t match the expectations. the coffee was okay, tasted like your average pilon cafe con lache and some ice. Though I couldn’t taste the lavender—maybe the extra espresso shot masked it (which I definitely felt, haha) which was the point :) Thanks again, and I hope this feedback helps"
