I chose the seasame dressing which has a slight spice to it. Makes the salad. The Katsu Sando was tender, lightly breaded. Good for one hungry person or two for lunch. White bread stood up in delivery, thought it might get mushy. The spicy mayo pulls the sando together. Mango Creamy Soda was larger than expected and tasty! Will be back♡"

I stopped ordering soup from DoorDash because it almost always leaks or spills en route. Not this one from Hinodeya Chestnut St. Not a single drop spilled. The Miso & Ramen noodles were packaged in a very convenient paper bowl, nestled on top of a plastic container which held the toppings (green onions, pork slices, mushrooms, chili strings, sesame seeds, HB egg). (See picture). Very fresh. Very delicious. I also got an order of Gyoza & an order of Edamame. These were also delicious, but the Ramen was superb. I will definitely be ordering again. "

"The kobe and kaiju ramen are amazing and very much meat (a good thing) rather than all noodles. The broths are spectacular. Oh, and not prepackaged ramen noodles like many others use here in SF. The squid appetizer in their own sauce was delightful. Definitely a must try. It is San Francisco fusion, not pretentious fusion like most other places. "

"A decent bowl of ramen at a decent price is hard to come by in the Sunset District, let alone the whole Bay Area, but this place is our favorite in terms of taste, price, and comfort. Love the spicy mala ramen, as it comes with karaage! Broth is flavorful, and you can get a slight kick with some extra spice. My wife can't do spicy food, but she could easily handle the mild mala broth, so they made it well. Noodles are of the thicker variety, and they hold the broth and spices well. Chasu was a little on the lean side, but they had a decent char on it. The star for us was the karaage. Holy moly, was that good! Super crispy and crunchy outside, tender and juicy inside. You get 3 good sized pieces with the mala. We like to keep it on the side so it stays crispy. Sauce was super good with it too. Light and savory. Also got 2 skewers of perfectly cooked bacon-wrapped scallops that were a perfect appetizer. Not heavy, super flavorful, but left plenty of room for your piping hot bowl of ramen. Give this place a try if you've got a ramen craving and you're in the Sunset! "

"Incredibly delicious! The Kanom Jeen Nam Ngiaw was rich, complex and meaty. The Khao Soi Gai was bright tasting. Spicy but not overpowering. Worth noting neither came with garnishes as described in the menu. But still damned good! Mushroom fries are addictive, but probably even better eaten in house and fresh from the fryer. Gyoza are unique and a beautiful meeting of silky soft and crunchy. Good portions. We have leftover noodles for breakfast!"

"I rarely write a review, but this was on a different level. Simple outstanding. The Tonkotsu Ramen was rich and earthy, with loads of umami and a lovely combination of tastes. The Pad Kee Mao - Drunken Noodles was another highlight. Rich in basil, ginger and soy, the layers of tastes and the perfect consistency and "slipperiness" were making these noodles irresistible. Even the delivery containers were cleverly made and showed great attention to detail: the Tonkotsu Ramen had two compartments (one for the noodles, one for the egg, pork belly, and other ingredients), and a separate container for the broth. Even the Mushroom Fries were in a container "customized" with a cutout to let out the steam and keep the content crisp!"
