"Excellent. This is authentic homemade ice cream. Excellent flavors. I've tried them all. I started eating at Handel's when they first opened in Cleveland, Ohio some 14 years ago. My absolute favorite is the midnight madness, which is not offered on the regular menu, but on a rotation basis and it doesn't seem to come up that often. Also making my list are the praline pecan, mud pie, pistachio, black cherry. Honestly, I haven't had any flavor I disliked. I also tried the sundaes and the banana split, however delicious, it masked the flavor of the indulgent ice cream. I learned if I had a Handel's graving, while at work and couldn't take time to eat a cone or bowl, just order your favorite ice cream as a shake. Absolutely, hands down 5 stars."

"I'm a big fan of the route 44 size. They are so large you can pour out half the slush and put it in the freezer for another time. One of the big draws here, for me, is their happy hour from 2-4pm. All the drinks are 1\2 price. So for that and the drink menu, I give it 5 stars. I enjoy all the different options and flavors of drinks. I always order extra fresh fruit to enhance the fruit flavor. You can request less of the sugary syrup that way. Some of our favorite food choices are the hot dogs. I love the footlong Chili cheese dog. I'm not sure why they call it a coney, as I have been to Coney island and they have 2 different tastes. Nonetheless, all the hot dogs are delicious. Their burgers and burritos were pretty good too. Not a fan of the chicken chunks. They always seem to be dry and overcooked. I occasionally I find the oil used for frying the tater tots and mozzarella sticks to be not fresh. When the oil isn't fresh it leaves a funky after taste in your mouth."

"The first flavor was the Garrison Bros. Whiskey & Pecan Pralines. It is very tasty with that special boost of boozy whiskey flavor on the back end. Pleasant smooth creamy vanilla ice cream with the pecan pralines appearing sporadically. Not in every bite. I would like to have more pecans to give it 5 stars. The Chocolate with Polar Bear Paws offers a good dutch cocoa type chocolate ice cream. However, I definitely need more peanuts and peanut butter to give it more than 3 stars. Moving on to the Eureka Lemon & Marionberries ice cream. Eureka is definitely the word to use. This is excellent! The lemon flavor ice cream eats like a cross between a sorbet, cool and refreshing, and ice cream thats smooth and creamy. The lemon flavor boasts a refreshing lemon flavor, however, not the pucker power of fresh lemon. Mixed with a fine ribbon of marionberries makes the flavor perfection. 5 stars!"
