Area 337 is hands down my favorite restaurant in Lake Charles! The Pabellón Arepa and Jugo de Maracuyá / Passion Fruit Juice are my go tos! The arepa is filling, seasoned perfectly, and the plantains add a touch of sweetness. I have to eat gluten free, and have never gotten sick from eating here. The quality is extremely consistent, and my order has never been wrong!

Area 337 never lets me down. The Stew chicken has a homey, authentic feel. It is flavorful, satisfying, and inexpensive. If you are a flan fan, the Flan de Vainilla / Vanilla Flan nicely caps a healthfull meal. I look forward to trying their other dishes at some point, but for now, I am addicted to the Stew chicken .😋

This place was a delightful discovery on DoorDash . The Stew Chicken is a highly satisfying meal. The three large pieces of chicken were moist and falling off the bone tender. The flavors feel authentic — they invite you to close your eyes and imagine a small cafe in some exotic locale. What a bargain! And, they serve flan (Flan de Vainilla / Vanilla Flan ) which I enjoy but only rarely find these days.

Area 337 never fails to deliver with the flavor! Everything we get is delicious, both in restaurantand via delivery. This is our first time trying the Bandeja Paisa (Colombia) and Picnic Roast (Pork shoulder) , as well as the Pernil / Pork Arepa and Chicharrón / Fried Pork Arepa. I think the Arepas are now my favorite dish! The texture of the arepa was spot on. Gus and his family and team are doing an amazing job!
