This is one of the BEST places I have had chicken. I used to eat fried chicken all the time when I lived in the south and eating fried chicken in the Bay Area was disappointing. This all changed when I had my co-worked suggest this place. I think this place is any one of the best places I have had chicken by far. The fried chicken is truly to die for.

The quality has really gone down here. I've been eating Bonchon for over 20 years and it's nothing like the Bonchon of old times. The chicken tasted rotten and they covered it up with a lot of sauce. Unfortunately it still tasted spoiled. The rice was crusty, old and the dregs. This was a very disappointing and did not reflect the price I paid..

The Buldak and tteokbokki are both delicious, and I always enjoy these dishes, but a word to the white--they are hot! I wish the buldak had a few more rice cakes in it, but the sauce for both is just so flavorful and savory. Just beware when ordering if you're sensitive to spice!

The Boneless is usually very good, tasty battered and fried chicken wing (or maybe thigh?) pieces. This time we got basically premade double fried chicken nuggets. It is quite disappointing and I really hope this was only an anomaly and the restaurant will get backto the old version.
