so I wasn't sure if I wanted to try this again. Cause the first time, it was nasty. But this second time, CAVA did, right!!! I made sure to take a picture again. March 29th 2025 order!

I was not actually aware it was possible for a restaurant to mess up falafel so badly. They only had 1/2 portion of it, so offered another protein for the other 1/2, but all were meat (which I don't eat) so they offered a free drink--- fine. Turns out a 1/2 portion of falafel is 2 small balls on a giant pita; 4 would not make a full portion. I didn't even finish that much though--- I've truly never had such inedible falafel. The "crispy falafel" was soggy and, even more egregious, utterly unseasoned. It somehow didn't even taste like chickpeas, just a gross wet blob. I ordered a brownie; I received a blondie--- 2" square, pre-packaged, and really not very good. I'd pay 50¢ for it from a vending machine if there were no other options. The lemonade was the only palatable thing I received. Ridiculous prices for the quality (pita) and size (blondie) plus not even getting what I ordered. Skip it, there are way better (and better priced) pita places.

Most of the food tasted fine, but the portion sizes were much smaller than usual and my Tahini Caesar had semi-raw chicken in it. I called the restaurant to let them know, and a manager said they would comp our next order if I called and said I had talked to him. Not sure if that's company policy though, it sounded a little sketchy.

So so good. The salt brine pickles are the perfect addition to a bowl. Love Love the pita chips
