To quote my husband - "Possibly the most tender pork chop I've had since we moved here". I had the chicken and dumplings - loaded with chicken and very tasty.

I received an order of Chicken Small Chicken Fried Chicken with no gravy. I also ordered the fried mushroom appetizer, which was very greasy and arrived without any dipping sauce. My Funnel Cake Fries came without powdered sugar or dipping sauce - plain and dry. The Gallon Drinks (Sweet Tea) does not come in a jug, but in a bag and was warm to hot. I expected it to be drinkable upon arrival. The sides (okra and squash) are great, as was the Mama's Special Butter Cake. The missing items is a consistent problem with this particular Cotton Parch.

Both grilled chicken dinners were very tough. The cobb salad was in chunks, not really cut up. And the rolls were under cooked. I am hoping they were just having an off night as their food is usually good. $85 to not enjoy the food.

The steak was very stringy and under seasoned. Was expecting a larger portion for the almost $20 it was. It did the job because I was hungry but can definitely be better and larger portions as compared to other places I order Chicken Fried Steak from. Soup was good and mac and cheese was good as well. Sweet Tea was delicious.

Should be ashamed to charge $8 for a "piece" of Dr Pepper Chocolate Cake that was smaller than half of a homemade cupcake and crushed to boot. Love the chicken and dumplings but will never waste money on the cake again!
