My Beet and Goat Cheese Salad was delicious! Large selection of greens, topped with beets, goat cheese, cranberries, walnuts and a very tasty balsamic dressing. The Fried Green Tomatoes were crispy and cooked to perfection, and I really enjoyed the dressing that came with it.

A fantastic old neighborhood place that has faced the test of time and wild gentrification. The Country Fried Steak and collard greens are peerless. If you're a recent transplant, be sure to pay respects to your new home and try some of the best Southern food in the city. Bar's great too.

Barely any gravy dripped over steak and the potatoes. Although this is the best country fried steak in town, it's nothing without the gravy. And there's no way to request extra. Normally get more.

I'll give the place a two for effort but no. That was not it. The Country Fried Steak itself was decent not anything to get again when theres other places that cook it with love. The mashed potatoes were sweet. Ive never had mashed potatoes with any type of sweetness in it so thats a no. The biscuit was good. The Smokey Lima Beans was def a no by the look but the taste made it even worse. Deviled Eggs (3) were basic , no relish in them to give it the extra flavor.
