As usual, the food was delicious. The only
problem was the large collards, while absolutely perfect, were refrigerator cold! No big deal since I was home and could just heat them up on the stove. This is a top-notch pl that I would put up against any other chicken joint around here. 9.8/10 Recommend

If all the chicken eaters in town would eat here once, ALL of the other restaurants would have to close their stores. This place has AWESOME food. The Dark Chicken Meal was fabulous along with the sides of collards, okra, potato wedges and red beans and rice,were all great. Please do yourself a favor and go have a meal here and you'll be hooked too.

Before ordering from Happy Food Store I placed an order from Krispy krunchy chicken. When I received my order from Happy Food Store. it came in a Krispy krunchy chicken box. Confusing, regardless though the chicken was piping hot and fresh the sides had plenty of gravy, the biscuits were soft and very well buttered. Food was exceptional, would definitely order again

This was my first time trying Happy Food Store but it will definitely not be my last. Chicken livers were nicely fried and arrived hot and fresh. Both the red beans & rice and the jambalaya were deliciously seasoned. Nice portions also.

Absolutely delicious. An act of desperation, it was late and not to many other places to order from and this place looked to be more like cook to order and less like the fast food chains are serving up. WOW, I really will be ordering again.
The fried chicken is so super crispy and delicious. There is something they put in it that is under the skin and it is so yummy! The hushpuppies are perfect with just the right sweetness and the potato wedges were cooked through, crispy on the outside and just perfectly tender on the inside. The Fried Krispy Shrimp Meal was so good and crispy even being Delivered. The Honey Butter Biscuits are really as yummy as they look online. Wish I got the 6 I initially was going to order, but went back and changed it to just 3. Speaking of which its nice to see you can customize what you want with the quantity you want. 1st Door Dash order and I am impressed with everything.
