The baked Baked Green Mussels (4 Pcs) were beautifully cooked and sweetness of the sauce with the mussels themselves was delicious. The Japanese Scallop (Hotate) Sashimi were sweet, extremely fresh, and refreshing. The Hayatobi Roll definitely does the restaurant proud as a namesake dish, there was more tuna on top of it than most tuna rolls have inside of it and the tempura shrimp remained crisp inside of the roll itself. Honestly a stunning meal and I'll be thrilled to visit in person soon!

The baked mussels had too much eel sauce which I found was sugar and soy sauce. The sauce burned some in baking and I have had before and they were superb these not so much. But generally I love Hayatobi. The Best Miso soup I have ever had. And I got the Vegetable Roll rolled in nori and superb.

Sushi tasted weird. The salmon was mushy like it was thawed out, refrozen, and thawed out again. Didnt taste fresh, bad texture. The eel avocado roll was good, however.
