I love ordering food from La casa boricua. The food always tastes delicious, and you can tell it was made with love! My go to is the Chicken plate, very tasty as it includes arroz con grandules, plantains and a salad. One of my favorite sides to get is the White rice beans and the Pastellio. This time i had the chicken. Athough the serving size looks small in my picture I assure you it is a lot more than pictured above. I have been a patron of this restaurant for about three years, and i highly recommend!!!!

Ordered a steak plate for $15, not the cheap $7 one! I received small cut up pieces of meat, pretty much the scraps of what was left and the worst unflavorful hard rice ever! Im so disappointed and I have eaten here before but stopped because of the quality falling every time, it gets worst! At this point im done and if the food is not going to be up to par, I cannot waste my money here. I was really wanting to order more than what i did but said since the past hasnt been great let me start with just one meal! My was i happy i did! Then one item was just substituted instead of asking me or refunding for what i actually wanted

Meh. Pretty disappointed in this. The chicken was excessively dry, it was probably 3oz of chicken; totally not worth the price. Maybe i caught them on a bad day but yea....never again. I will say the Arroz con gandules portion size is HUGE. But the flavor is also meh at best. :/ Also, the little piece of bread that came with it was suspiciously broken off (maybe bitten off?). Also, didntIget tostones and the description said it included it in the chicken plate meal. Idk, weird and not eating it. Lol im only giving a 3 star because someone put at least some effort into cooking/packaging it and delivering it.

Love that they have a Vegan plate option. Perfect!
Alcapurrias have meat inside them so that for my sister but would love a vegan one. Insteadof meat bell peppers and onions delcio and they make sure the bag is SEALED

I ordered the chicken plate and it was good a lil dry on the chicken but still good but there is A LOT more chicken in that picture than what I received, I got a chicken bone that looked half ate with a small pc of chicken next to it, very deceiving
