BEST KEPT SECRET FOR AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD
My mother owned & operated 2 Mexican restaurants. I can attest to the fact that this little hole in the wall establishment is the best mexican food in Santa Monica!

These tacos are contenders for the driest tacos known to man. The chicken was dry, the asada was try AND tough (I'm exhausted from chewing so hard), and adobada was only slightly better bc of the marinated juice but once you bite through, dry dry dry. I've never had dry meat in a tamale yet they managed to do it. Hope they can improve.

The restaurant labelled all of our orders (it was a group order), including utensils / napkins/ sauces/ chips. It was so helpful! I wish we were able to add our order preferences/instructions, like no onions or cilantro.

Burrito was dry, too much rice... paid for sour cream and barely any was out in.... usually good but whoever made this one it was no good... asked for extra hot salsa didn't receive

The food was really disappointing, when the food arrived, the restaurant forgot to provide the Dasher a drink, not only that the restaurant forgot to provide napkins as well as I requested they add utensils. Asada Street Tacos were pretty okay at best, nothing too crazy about it but when it came down to me and my co-worker's California burrito it was a huge nothing but fries in the burrito, there is no mention on this website that it had French fries inside and that it would come with Cheese as well as Pico de Gallo and Guac Sauce but it was just filled with Mostly fries, and sour cream, very little of anything else.
