I love the food here but I specifically loveee the sides. The yams are perfectly sweet, the macaroni is perfectttttt. Today I tried the cabbage and it's good asf also.

Flounder had a mushy and very salty texture, collards taste like they were blanched then thrown into a pan of fatback grease, noodles in Mac and cheese were very undercooked, the white fish was perfectly cooked but was also salty (said 11 year old). Bright side cornbread was great and the food was very hot!

The taste of the food was amazing. Everything was perfectly seasoned and I will be going back for more! My only complaint is that you only get 2 "little" squares that's supposed to be "hamburger". Pleeeeease add more to the square.

The fried whiting fillets were thin, rubbery and salty. Literally the worst fried fish I've ever had in my life. Hopefully this was just a bad batch. The side dishes, fried shrimp and fried pork chops were good.

Hamburger Steak & Gravy Combo with 2 Sides-The sides were edible but the hamburger steak&gravy was salty.Kids 1 Entrée with 1 Side and Chicken & Dumplings Combo with 2 Sides-The sides were edible but the entrees were salty. Sweet Potato Pie they did not have but I was offered a replacement, was okay with that. As a first time customer, not so happy.
