Beignets are fantastic! Tried some beignets from The Beignet Stand in San Antonio this week. Louisiana Donuts beats them hands down. No comparison. Really light dough and you won't find them cheaper anywhere else.

I try to stop in every day that I have a morning shift at work because they're so good! The staffis always super friendly, and I love seeing their smiling faces. They have this one called a "Bomber"that has cream cheese, bacon, and jalapeño, and it is SO FREAKING GOOD! One of my favorites.

I ordered a red Red Velvet doughnut and they gave me a blueberry one, the Potato, Egg & Cheese taco was very cold.. the Boudin & Pepper Jack kolache was mostly bread the ice Ice Cream Donut was okay. although it was just a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fruity pebbles sprinkled on top of a doughnut. I didnt try the Chocolate Pecan Cinnamon Roll just because I wasn't hungry anymore after everything else. the Chocolate Milk was fine. overall disappointed but maybe it was a bad day!
