This is our first order, so we shared a Medium plate. Everything comes in one dish. Teriyaki chicken and steak portions were large and delicious. Side salad was fresh, and the Asian vinaigrette dressing was amazing. We chose sweet corn and brown rice as sides and we have been dipping the rice into the salad dressing for extra flavor. Looking forward to trying new things on this menu. Oh, the Dole Soft Serve (large) dessert is soooo good.

The teriyaki steak and chicken were so good drenched in Yaki, there were some charred pieces not edible but the portion size was enough that I had plenty! Loved the salad with the red onion vinaigrette and the edamame was the perfect touch! I enjoyed this meal very much!

Disappointed and feeling ripped off.
I ordered the spicy poke and teriyaki steak bowls, but when my food arrived, both containers were severely underfilled—less than half full for the poke and only about a third for the steak. Definitely not worth the price. Won’t be ordering again.

Okay I don't normally review on the first order, but y'all made some fantastic food! The portions were way more than I thought they'd be for the price, and everything tasted so good. The standout to me was the chicken katsu - super crispy even after the 25-30 min. delivery! I also really liked the kalua pork, and the yaki sauce definitely helped boost the overall flavor. Edamame could've used a bit more salt, but that's honestly nitpicking.
My toddler would also like to recommend the teriyaki chicken. He went straight for it and ate about half his serving before even looking at the rice!
To any parents who need a quick and easy meal delivered, choose Makai Island Grill! I'm definitely coming back for more!

Flavors were decent. Garlic edamame was soicywhich I wasnt expecting, and for the price you dont get much meat at all. You get way more bang for the buck from places like LuLu
