• DoorDash orderSeasonal Avocado Toast. This used to come with a nice mix of dill and cilantro on it, in a reasonable amount. Now it's all arugula, a huge mountain of it, and very bitter. I picked it off rather than eating it. The avocado was not ripe, and was cut into thick random chunks that fell off the bread when you tried to pick it up instead of being nicely thinly sliced. I ordered extra avocado, and for $4.00 I got a box with what looked like about an eighth of an avocado, kind of hacked into bits. When I've ordered extra avocado before, I've gotten pretty much a whole avocado nicely sliced. This sandwich used to be worth the $17, but now I'd suggest you just buy your own levain and avocados and make it yourself. Levain. was good as usual. Blackberry Polenta Cake (WF). was very dense and hard, like a day-old item not fresh that day. If they're going to foist day-old pastries off onto delivery orders, they should mark them as such, and offer them at a discount. Very disappointing overall.

• DoorDash orderThe Jamon Buerre sandwic only has 4 ingredients: bread, fancy Vermont butter, cornichons, and mustard. The Jambon Beurre Sandwich I recieved today had almost no butter and only 4 cornichons on the whole sandwich. Not worth $18 for whats basically bread and ham.

• DoorDash orderThe turkey sandwich was so mediocre it broke my heart. Delicious bread, but impossible to hold because the cranberry sauce and mustard seeped thru all the holes in the bread. It just didn't taste like an $18 sandwich. Hot chocolate would have been great if it weren't massively watered down. Overall I'm pretty disappointed.

• DoorDash orderOverall this is an extremely high quality bakery and the items taste great. however, what I didn't realize, and this might be on me, but I think it's worth sharing for others who might be ordering through DoorDash, is that in the morning, the pastries you order are not fresh that day. Both of my croissants were definitely a day old and not what I was expecting from this bakery at this price. Still tasty, but definitely not fresh like you would get if you were there. Same thing for the baguette and Levain Loaf I ordered -- they def have the crust texture and feel of day old, not fresh, bread. Still very tasty, but not freshly baked.
