I absolutely love Mr and Mrs Sushi!! I travel to VA once a month for work and order from them 1-2 times each trip. The Sunomono is a refreshing salad and the Shrimp Shumai is a light appetizer to get started. And the Mr. Sushi Deluxe is my go to main course. It also comes with 2 miso soups. This is a large meal which can be split between two people, or you can enjoy the leftovers for later. The sushi is always fresh and yummy and the presentation is so beautiful and inviting. The pictures I took are of my door dash order. You can see the detail and care they took preparing and plating the food and the pride they have in making it for their customers. I can't say enough great things about Mr and Mrs Sushi. I am looking forward to my next meal in January.

Review: Disappointing Sushi Experience I recently ordered sushi rolls from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The quality of the sushi was well below expectations. The rice was poorly seasoned, overly sticky, and lacked the proper texture. The presentation was sloppy and to top it off, the flavors were bland and uninspired, leaving no sense of the freshness or artistry that sushi is known for. For the price, I expected much better. Sadly, this was not worth the money or the risk of eating subpar sushi. I won’t be returning and would advise others to look elsewhere for a more enjoyable and safe sushi experience.

Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice is one of my favorite items! Its just like a spicy tuna roll but with more rice. It's very filling and one of my favorite things on the menu.

The eel was over cooked, the tuna was dry, and the Salmon Tempura was simply the wrong roll. I remember when I'd frequent this shop when it was running out of Lotte. Since moving, it feels like corners are being cut. Truly disappointing.
