So, so good! Phenomenal Chicken Korma and the potato in the Veg Samosa was so perfectly fluffy. Also, the cumin seed in the rice is an excellent touch. <3

The Vegetable Biryani was not mild and the spice was not good. The potatos in the Vegetable Biryani were undercooked. Normally I like Naya but tonight was a disappointment. The Shahi Paneer also didn't taste like usual.

I thought the food quite good. I was especially pleased with the Chana Marsala (Punjabi "Chole"). My introduction to Chole came during my brief stint playing Cricket at Orchard Downs. Delicious. A few of the team members came to my house and taught me how to cook some authentic Indian food. It is very labor intensive and one needs a battery of spices, but the results are well worth it. Naya makes a delicious Chole (Chana Marsala). There is an ample portion accompanied by deliciously fragrant, perfectly cooked rice. The Aloo Tikki was good, but not something I would order again. Two substantial pieces of that. Several pieces of the Garlic Naan were also well made, as was the Strawberry Lassi. The Indian Hot Coffee was just okay, as was the Marsala Chai Tea. All the portions were substantial. I would certainly recommend Naya. One Caveat: As with any foreign cuisine, what appeals to the American palate may not impress a native diner. Ergo, I would look for a review from a true Indian.

Best Indian we've had in CU. Word to the wise, even the mild was a little too spicy for our small kids. I'd say that's our only complaint/request: there should be a truly mild version of all dishes.
