I’ve ordered fried chicken pieces from Tex’s in Bay Ridge a few times now and it’s great! Consistently crispy, crunchy skin with juicy chicken and not greasy at all. I get the “regular” not spicy. MUCH better than Popeyes, etc. 👍🏻

The Cheeseburger w/ a Side & Beverage was so dry, and did not taste good. It tasted old and just not edible. The chicken was okay but lacked seasoning. No condiments were put in the bag and there was also no option to add any. Who eats from the chicken spot with out any ketchup or hot sauce ? Smh I'll stick to crowns next time.

meh it's like a more mid popeyes, and it's more expensive though than my usual popeyes order. they gave me a bottled soda with my meal which i thought was cool but instead of the usual dipping sauce container you get at every fast food place they gave me a ken's salad ranch dressing packet that i had to squeeze onto my tenders. food wasnt bad though just not incredible

The food here is good (when I want chicken this is my go-to rather than Popeye's or KFC) but they need to update their menu. I've tried ordering the cookies twice — the first time they just didn't include them, and the second time they called me and told me they don't actually offer them. It also seems like they only have bottles of soda (at least when you order here), even though the images make it seem like you'll be getting a fountain drink (especially since almost $4 is ridiculous for a 20oz bottle of Coke).
