Bubble tea and milk tea are two of my favorite food groups, and thus far Tsaocaa has been consistently some of the best of both that I've had. Mango Puree Milk With Bubble is probably my favorite of all those I've ordered, as it had strong mango flavor and a really nice thick texture between the mango and the milk, but they've all been very good. (Note that I've ordered all of these at 50% to 70% sugar and Less Ice.)
The Iced Kiwi Green Tea 奇异森林 was very nice, kind of smoothie-like consistency with the ice, and a nice strong kiwi flavor. The Guava Yakult Green Tea W. Nata Jelly 芭乐养乐多 was slightly unusual but tasty - the guava was nice with the tea. If you haven't had nata jelly before, it's cubes or strips of gel made from fermented coconut water, which is a fun texture alternative to boba. These, and most of the others, mostly seemed pretty sweet, even at 50% sugar.
The Matcha Egg Waffle 抺茶鸡蛋仔 was good, although I wouldn't have immediately picked it out as matcha-flavored - but, matcha is a relatively subtle flavor, so it might've just gotten overwhelmed by what I was having it with. I enjoyed it. It was still a little bit warm even riding alongside the cold drinks, and nice and soft on the inside.
Taro Bubble Milk 芋上鲜奶 was the only one of the drinks I felt could've used a higher sugar level. However, I didn't mix it up well enough to begin with, so the first part was mostly milk, and at the end the part with the taro flavor was much stronger than intended, so take that with a grain of salt. Speaking of, the taro part unexpectedly tasted almost salty, but would've been pretty nice if I'd mixed it together better to begin with. But, that's another reason why I think it could've used more sugar than the others. (I couldn't tell you if they actually add a tiny bit of salt to it, or if that's just the taro flavor.) I actually didn't finish that one, so that I can pick up some milk tomorrow, maybe add a bit of maple syrup, and have another go at that.
