• DoorDash orderI got the Egusi and Pounded Yam serves with chicken& beef with goat meat. Wow! Ive never had African food before, and I am currently making it a priority to step outside my comfort zone and try different foods.
I was not disappointed!! It's savory, spicy, and packed with so much flavor. The fufu was absolutely wonderful with the Egusi.
I also ordered the Small Plantain (10 pieces)as a side. The plantain with the egusi together??? Super awesome flavor combination.
Definitely recommend and will order more in the future.

• DoorDash orderThis was my first time trying Egusi and Pounded Yam. Oh my gosh, it was probably one of the top 5 dishes I have ever eaten. I enjoy trying different cultures foods and Angie's did not disappoint. I don't know what meats were in the assorted meats selection but they were AMAZING. The meat was tender, the stew was piping hot. I ordered right before they closed and the food was fresh. It wasn't spicy. There was a lingering warmth but not spicy. The pounded yam was good too- hot, a little stick, pairs super well with the egusi.
The plantains were perfectly cooked!
I also ordered the pound cake but I did not like it very much. It kind of had a greasy after taste.
Turkey tails were pretty good but not the star of the show. They were a little dry but I put them in the egusi and they softened up and got ate upppp!
I will most definitely order from here again!

• DoorDash orderThe pounded yam and egusi was really flavorful and tasty. It was a new experience and I will most definitely recommend this to others. The food is different from anything i've ever tried , but i don't regret trying it.
