Love that they included a fresh basil leaf with the Margherita pizza. Also came with lil containers of red pepper flakes and parm. Very cheesy and delicious. Chewy crust. Caesar salad (Insalata di Cesare) is very very basic but they throw in a few canned anchovies.

Coda Alla Vaccinara was beyond amazing! Came with plenty of sauce, fresh focaccia, butter, and a small container of red pepper flakes if I wanted to add any spice. I will absolutely order again when I'm back in town!

luvvvvv this place! consistently chef's kisses! the portions are amazing. they dont skimp on the proteins either! one of the only places that i feel is worth the money these days. Boscaiola with Rose Sauce is my absolute fav

This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the Marina, and one of the very best in San Francisco. Their pasta is gorgeous, the pizza is incredible and the meatballs are better than my Sicilian mother's. Highly recommend.

Boscaiola was a great portion with good amount of sausage and mushrooms. Not sure why the rose sauce costs extra, but I did enjoy it.
Polpette had good flavor as did the red sauce. Texture is quite firm, more like sausage than a tender, moist homemade meatball. The bread triangles would be better packed in the side.
Burrata alla Caprese was all high quality ingredients, just missing some acid (balsamic vinegar would be perfect) and desperately needs salt, especially the sweet tomato slices.
