Homegrown pizza was unique!,the toppings were a delightful and fresh combination of flavors, like no other pizza I am aware of.
I was happily surprised I enjoyed the salad for the sane reasons.
I will reorder both items, I highly recommend you check out this Washington Park gem.

Pizza was dry, literally no sauce! And mostly crust to be honest. Also, the cookies we ordered were dry as well, and super grainy, literally made it hard to swallow, imagine eating protein powder and thats how it was.
Super disappointed because we always loved homegrown but this was a NO-GO. Idk if things changed after they revamped the location but whatever they did, it was a change for the WORST. We will not be eating here again.

"Unremarkable" is the family quote --pizza was bland, bolognese was like a taupe color with weird flavor (like overcooked mushrooms?), and ceasar salad is meh with too little dressing for the lettuce (half a tiny plastic cup)---wasted $$

The only thing I would say is you hardly get any chicken if you add it to the salad.
