I forgot how good Abbays food was. There have been new places open up closer to my house, so I have been eating at the new places, BUT... I got an incredible craving for meatloaf & Turnip greens. I remembered that Abbays was pretty good, so I ordered. Ah MAN, It hit the spot! That delicious ketchup based glaze ontop was heavenly. The greens were tender, & cooked whole just like my daddy used to make. NO sugar , just savory goodness. The flavor was awesome. I have eaten this same thing 3 times in the last 2 weeks. So good! Trust me. You wont be sorry.

The chi and dumplings had no broth and had the consistency of paste, but the flavo was ok. The sweet potato casserole was very good.

1st pork chop was salty and doughy, but thanks to the wonderful management team that replaced it with no problem. The cook had a bad day but was redeemed with the second pork chop... It was absolutely delicious.

Somehow the wrong selection was made on my potatoes and Doordash had NO GRAVY selected. WHAT? Who eats potatoes w/ no gravy. i called and got Larry the manager, he was Awesome and fixed me up w/ gravy. i told him how great I thought their food was and now I know WHY. Great management!!! Thank You Larry. I finally got my food 2 hours after I spoke to you and we know my food waa ready then. Not you're fault. Abbays did great! Doordash, well... lol.
