Grilled Chicken Breast Super delicious, lightly seasoned, always moist. Generous portions
Side of Vegetables Nicely sauteed or steamed, infused with "Pauley" thin garlic. Always want more carrots included.
Side of Risotto The mushrooms and green peas add to the tastiness.
Bread is always warm and yummy.
This is my fave go-to restaurant. Great chefs, great staff. They take care of me. It's always appreciated.

The Salmone Fantasia was delicious, fresh, flavorful, succulent, and tasty. Generous portions of salmon. Previously came with Norwegian salmon. Love the change to steelhead salmon. The Seasonal Vegetables are always good. Broccoli could have been greener. The Vellutata, smooth and warm, is a great starter to the main entree.
This restaurant is my fave. I've ordered these items many times before. Would order again. Well worth it.

We were so excited to tey this restaurant based on how many people love the place. We ordered Pizza Margherita (12"), Fried Calamari, Side of Meatballs & Lasagna.
There was NO FRESH MOZZARELLA to be found on the Margherita pizza and ut had a very sharp herby flavor to it. NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED.
We loved the Fried Calamari! Excellent dinner portion and it was just yummy with fried onions and fried zuchini toppers!
The Meatballs were dense and hubby said they were ok. He also said the Lasagna was ok.
All in all at these prices, we expected 5 stars across the board. We probably won't order from them again.

After a lifetime spent in North Beach
restaurants, a recent accident wound me up at the VA Hospital on Clement Street for the last 6 months - and I have several more months to go. The distance between selected restaurants and the VA has a definite set of intangible values; food consistency, food prep (heat), damage a from delivery, etc , everyone knows all the various results.
Searching for a closer, acceptable venue I came across Spiazzo Restorante at 33 West Portal Avenue in the West Portal Neighborhood of San Francisco. I had to order off a DoorDash. I ordered Zuppa di Pesce and I was really, for the most part, satisfied, very satisfied. And surprised. My only request is that they add more spaghetti (which is inexpensive and so satisfying) and include a half dozen sliced pieces of garlic bread which would be so complementary to the dish.
I'm going to reorder the seafood dish tonight and I hope I might be able to talk to the owner or chief and have a chance to make my request. I already know Spiazzo Restorante is going to be a new favorite of mine and my friends.

Just ate here last week at the restaurant and it tasted way better there. Different experience on door dash.. I think bc they made it so fast. Fried Calamari was bland and hard. Pasta wasn't that good either. The salad was my favorite.
Good restaurant for dine in. Just not good for door dash. The food was prepared way too fast. They must've been slammed.
