Missing sides, burned appetizer, rubbery chicken. Sometimes great cooking, sometimes a disaster.

I very seldom give bad reviews but food has to be very bad for me not to eat it. Raised in NO and have a real love for Cajun food I hacmve tasted the good bad and the ugly. I could not eat the etouffe. The crayfish tasted like the China imported stuff. Extremely fishy and nasty. My husband ordered the CHICKEN FRIED PORK and did not care for it but I well preface that comment with he is very picky. I did get the bread pudding and it was good, not the best I ever had but acceptable. it was my dinner that night. Don't think we will be giving River Camp eats another try unless it is gratis.

For the price of the CAJUN SHRIMP PASTA it included 5 shrimp and barely any green onions along with some hard plain pieces of bread. The sauce that came with the CAJUN SHRIMP PASTA and CAJUN ENVIE just wasn't enough for the amount of plain noodles.
The CAJUN ENVIE was OK the fish was over seasoned and dry and we could have just made the same dishes at home for cheaper if I wanted overseasoned fish.
The sides were some of the blandest fried okra and the most plain Mac and cheese.
I should have stuck with The Catch for my seafood needs.
I will say the only good thing was the CAJUN DIP and BOUDIN BALLS is it worth the return or the 80 spent? Not at all.
