The food I experienced at iconic vegan cafe was top tier. The Chopped Bbq Sandwich & Fries BBQ sandwich was great if you like your BBQ less sweet. The bread it's on was toasted to perfection. The veggie Veggie Rolls were crispy and tasty. The Mac & Cheese was awesome. If you don't like gooey mac and cheese you will like it. Last, but certainly not least, the Banana Pudding was delicious. It wasn't a lot of bananas in it and it tasted like a homemade pudding.

The banana pudding is way overpriced for how expensive it is. It's literally just a few bites. Everything else was good.

Much more greasy than I expected. The fries fell out in the plastic bag and got soggy quick. The Mac and cheese was a great portion with great taste but swimming in oil. The sandwich was big and looked amazing. The sauce on the mushroom was a little much for me but it was ok after a few bites. Wouldnt order again as im looking fo something a little less greasy. Would recommend to a vegan looking for a greasy cheat meal.

My first time ordering but it won't be the last. First, I'll start with my customer service experience. They were out of Oyster Mushrooms so they called to find out how I wanted to proceed. Sounds small but to me that was huge as I've had restaurants not take that extra step and just give me the substitution they want me to have which is unacceptable. Next the food....the Soul Food Plate was fire but they forgot my cornbread but everything was so good so it made up for it. I'm huge on seasoning and the greens had a really good flavor. Actually, the entire dish was really good and the portion was nice. The Hot Maple sandwich was soo good. The flavor was amazing. The lions mane had a nice crunch but wasn't over battered, wasn't greasy and it had just the right amount of sauce. Also, I was impressed that the fries were also seasoned nicely. Can't wait to try other menu items.
