Tres leches latte was sooo good! Based on other reviews, I added a shot vanilla and it was perfect (I like sweet).
Breakfast sandwiches with bacon was generous portion. The hubs and teenage son ordered it on sourdough, which comes slightly grilled.
Chocolate Croissant was delicious! Lots of chocolate, would definitely come back!

Breakfast is very very good. Had Huevos Rancheros, will get again. Cinnamon Roll is large, fresh and tasty. I have been here about 15x and have yet to try something i have not loved.
One of my favorites are their shortbread cookies. No one makes them quite like them. Get at least 2, 1 is a tease. ;)

We love, love, The Buttery!!! Their Plain Croissants have that wonderful pastry crisp and melt in your mouth. All of their salads are awesome! Their coffee is as good as Starbucks. All of their bakery items are yummy. I wish they made " morning/sticky Buns! My husband and I buy from them over and over! Their fresh breads are so much better than store bought and the price is competitive. Treat yourself and see. We did and it is worth the change and the change!😉

This food is just bad. This place has a great reputation because of their baked goods, which are more palatable but frankly even those are nothing to write home about. Food in Santa Cruz is so mediocre overall that places like this can rise to the top. French Toast (Large) was truly forgettable and had almost zero fruit, Garlic Bread was inedible and went straight into the trash, Tres Leches was beyond sweet, even after adding a lot more milk it was difficult to get it down.

Be aware that if you order past and desserts from this place the food may come touching and spreading icing or whatever you bought among the other items youve purchased. Be aware. Also missed a cupcake among other things I ordered that werent tere upon delivery! Bad cupcakes too tastes like box mix but you paying the price of a patisserie
