So I've been wanting to try Trejos Taco for a damn long time, and I'm bummed I couldnt go to the actual restaurant but I wasn't going to waste an opportunity to at least try the food, even if it was delivered. I gotta say, I'm pretty darn happy with what I got.
I think my highlights were the Carnitas Taco, Fried Chicken Taco & Mushroom Asada Taco. Really nice balance of flavor and ingredients on them.
The Beef Barbacoa Taco tasted good but was a bit dry but I ordered like an hour before closing so I'm willing to give it another try, another day, another time.
The Cauliflower Taco was kind of just okay. Nothing that really made it stand out from the others. Maybe grilling it to get a bit of char would give it that dimension I feel it's missing? Also, maybe ricing it so it's a bit easier to eat? Or more diced at least?
The Strawberry Lemon Agua Frescais was nice and refreshing, and I like that the Date Sweetened Horchata wasn't overly sweet.
Overall happy and would order again, or better yet, eat on location!

So fire. People call this mid all the time but the bowls always hit. Every single time. The Date Sweetened Horchata never misses either. The meat portions are around 3.5-4oz so if you double up on the protein you should be proper full.
