I got the 2 choice plate and it was good not great. The picture shows it served with 2 scoops of rice but it was only one. I got beef and short ribs and the meat quality wasn't great. Almost tasted like they either boiled it or cooked it while the meat was still frozen so it left the meat on the more tough and rubbery side. Also not seasoned all that well and meat serving was kinda skimpy but it wasn't terrible for the price.

First time having this place and I honestly won't order from here ever again. Figured how bad can Hawaiian bbq be? Well, the rice was hard as if they are preloaded into the Togo containers. The Mac salad was very bland. Surprisingly the short ribs which are normally really good at other Hawaiian bqq places were also bland. I would have been disappointed if they were an upcharge and did wonder why they weren't at this place. Makes sense, I guess. The chicken katsu was cold and lack luster. The one thing I really did enjoy here though was the katsu sauce! It was very flavorful! The "teriyaki" sauce I asked for also was heavily soy sauce flavored. It unfortunate because it is close to my home and I do try to support small businesses, but only if they are decent....
