The Special Bento Combo (3 items) was okay. The beef terriyaki was burnt and they only gave me 8 pieces of meat. Sushi was fishy.

Chicken and shrimp were undercooked, fish smelled bad, sauce was gelatinous. Overall unappealing, unfortunately.

Im writing a review, because, I saw bad reviews. Im a local regular, this place is a mom & pop restaurant, both from Japan. The food is delicious; its not the best you'll ever have, but its tasty and good quality, fresh. They're bento boxes are $20 bucks, you cant beat it around here. Ive been loving the food here for years. My *ONLY*complaint is that they take a few days off for each major holiday, good for them but not for my belly haha

I was very disappointed. The food looked good but when I bit into the tempura, I was digusted by the flavor. Everything was dripping in this foul oil this had obviously been used too long. The tempura tasted awful and greasy. A simple change of oil periodically makes the difference also allowing some oil to drain from the tempura is good too. This ruined the whole meal for me.
