I get the Peshwari Naan every time -- the sweetness and nut oils help to give the palate a break from masala or vindaloo. The Vegetable Samosas benefit from the tamarind chutney in the same way. Star Special Pillau Rice is always a treat with the cashews and raisins, perfect for adding hits of sweetness to a saag or a masala without changing the sauce itself into a tikka masala or a korma.
Goat bones may require some extra work to avoid, but de-boning the meat from the Goat Masala is the least worrisome way to enjoy over rice.

• DoorDash orderI've been going to Star of India for over 20 years! They are the absolute BEST! My favorite, and what I order every single time, is the Saag Paneer and Naan. When I can't visit in person, I'll order it to go and they're always very efficient! Thanks so much for such an amazing tasting meal, anytime!!

• DoorDash orderThe Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan are my go-to and are always awesome. I tried the Gulab Jamun for the first time and was not a big fan, you get 2 tiny balls in an order for $5 and it didn't seem worth it to me. But overall I always love Star of India!!!

• DoorDash orderThis was my first time trying Indian food, but after reading reviews and recommendations...OMG!!!Everything I had was amazing, fresh, and hot. If you're not a big spicy eater like myself, the Butter Chicken is definitely a must and amazing. The flavors and cream sauce is amazing. The Vegetable Samosa is definitely recommended, and it comes with 2 in the order. Entire meal 10/10 and this is a 1st.
