I can see why this is Keanu Reeves favorite places to eat in SF. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Some Chinese places IMO have some iffy meat sometimes, but House of Nanking always has the best freshest chicken! Their Chicken and Green Beans along with the Famous Nanking Sesame Chicken, Chow Mein, andsSteamed Pork Dumplings is just about the best oder in SF!

Umami Garlic Long Beans were cooked nicely but only 3/4 cup is too small a portion. Green beans are inexpensive!
Eggplant and Sweet Potato in sweet chili sauce was not outstanding. Sauce needed more oomph. Dish needed tofu.

Nice flavor (very oniony) ,not your typical Wonton Soup as it looks creamy as you can see by the photo. The wontons are large and flavorful. I would get this again, but if you're looking for traditional Wonton Soup soup, this would not be for you .

Delicious as always, Nanking has been a family favorite for decades. A weirdly specific detail they get right: all of the appetizers come with an even number, so no fighting over the last one!
The Chili Oil Tossed Pork Wontons (8) were fabulous. The House Noodles were unexpected (they're made with a spice rub rather than in a sauce) but they're still quite tasty and the beef is tender.
