• DoorDash orderThis place NEVER disappoints, and I mean NEVER. The Chicken Tikka Masala is just amazing and the Chicken Vindaloo was exquisite!!! The dish sizes are huge and well worth the price. Highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

• DoorDash orderFast and fresh. The Plain Rice is a large portion. Garlic Naan is soft and flavorful, comes in 2 pieces. The Vegetable Samosas (2 Pieces) was very fresh and crispy but a little under seasoned inside. Large portion of Chicken Tikka Masala with a good amount of chicken. Spicy, as asked but also a little under seasoned as well. I was hoping it would have more Indian spices, but still very good.

• DoorDash orderThe coconut curry is delicious! Called and asked them to add some spice to it and they delivered a nice kick! I lived in London, England years ago and struggled to find authentic Indian food. Many disappointments out there. Look no further, this is the place for your Indian craving! The garlic naan is seasoned to perfection and a generous serving. My 18mo old loves the rice dessert. This is now one of our favorite spots, we're lucky it's local!

• DoorDash orderI've yet to have a bad dish from here! Hell, ive yet to have just an ok dish from here, everything is delicious! Tika Masala and tandoori chicken are my go tos, but their kebabas and samosas are also to die for. I recommend this place to everyone i know, even if they live far from here!!! Staff is also incredibly sweet!

We have been loyal customers of India Restaurant La Habra for quite some time, and it has consistently been one of our favorite places for Indian cuisine. The flavors are authentic, and the quality of the food has always been top-notch. However, our most recent order through DoorDash left us somewhat disappointed, and we hope this was just an off night rather than a sign of changes in their standards.
What We Loved:
- Consistent Quality: Typically, the food from India Restaurant La Habra is delicious, with rich flavors and generous portions. We especially love their Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken
- Complimentary Rice: In the past, whenever we ordered a couple of entrees, we always received a container of rice, which was a nice touch.
Recent Disappointment:
- Missing Rice: This time, we did not receive the complimentary rice that usually accompanies our entrees. If there has been a change in the menu structure or policy regarding this, it should be clearly communicated to customers.
- Smaller Naan Portions: We also noticed that the portion of Naan was about half of what we usually receive. This was quite surprising and disappointing, as the Naan is one of the highlights of our meal.
We hope that this was just an isolated incident and not indicative of a new trend. We understand that every restaurant can have an off night, and we are willing to give India Restaurant La Habra another chance because of our past positive experiences. However, we would appreciate it if the restaurant could ensure consistency in their portions and clearly communicate any changes to their menu or policies.
Final Thoughts:
Despite this recent hiccup, we still hold India Restaurant La Habra in high regard and look forward to enjoying their delicious food again. We hope that our next order will meet the high standards we have come to expect from this beloved restaurant.
